The Government of Timor-Leste has issued travel restrictions for entering the country of Timor-Leste either through airports, ports or land borders.

 

Due to the border force regulation between Timor-Leste and Australia, scheduled flights from Dili, Timor-Leste to Darwin, Australia have been temporarily suspended until further notice. We encourage our customers to please contact our Reservations team on 1800 627 474 for the most up to date flying program.

 

Here are some of the guidelines and restrictions in place for travel from Darwin to Dili as of 05.10.2020

 

 Upon arrival into Timor-Leste, entrants must quarantine for 14 days in a government specified hotel or in your own accommodation, subject to the approval of the Ministry of Health.

Who can enter:

• Timorese Nationals

• Foreign Nationals who

  • were born in Timor-Leste;

  • reside in Timor-Leste;

  • are a legal representative of a Timorese minor or;

  • third country nationals who are legal residents of Timor-Leste over whom they exercise parental authority or ensure their support and education.

  • carry out their professional activity on oil platforms located in the Timor Sea.
