Arafura Games

The 2019 Arafura Games will also showcase the Northern Territory’s unique arts, culture, history and trade and investment opportunities. It is an event through which friendship, goodwill and understanding between competing nations and the Northern Territory is fostered.
16 sports have been chosen for the 2019 Arafura Games including, Athletics, Table Tennis, Boxing, Football (Soccer), Badminton, Swimming, Tennis, Muay Thai, Sailing, Indoor Volleyball, Beach Volleyball, Weightlifting, Basketball, Hockey, Netball and Sepak Takraw. An integrated para program will be included in Athletics, Swimming, Tennis, Netball and Table Tennis.
Terms and conditions. Airfares are per person one-way (unless stated otherwise), subject to availability, including all taxes, may not be available between school and public holidays. Sale fares will not be available between 18/04/2019 – 22/04/2019.Airfares are applicable vice versa. Credit card fees will apply: Australia domestic transactions with Visa and Mastercard incur 1.1% and American Express and Diners International incur 3.3%, international transactions with Visa and Mastercard incur 1% and American Express and Diners International incur 3%. Services transiting via Toowoomba’s Wellcamp Airport will incur airport charge of $20 per person (plus GST and credit card fees) for each transit. Seasonal services to/from Gold Coast commence April 3, 2019 and conclude October 20, 2019.
